The Boat

Out The Blue is a 38’ (11.5 metres), Evolution, powered by a new 500hp Cummins Diesel inboard with a maximum speed of 26 knots.

She can carry up to 12 people + skipper and crew (14 in total).

The boat is coded by MECAL up to 60 nautical miles from a safe haven. It has all the safety items one would expect including life jackets, life rafts, flares, first aid etc.

It has a separate onboard WC, a heated wheelhouse and tea and coffee making facilities with a wash-up sink.

All rods, equipment and bait included. We can in advance arrange accommodation (subject to availability) and provide daily transport, pick ups and drop offs.

The Skipper

Out The Blue is skippered by Martin Jacob

Martin has over 30 years fishing experience including a recent RYA Yachtmasters / Advance Powerboat , Commercially endorsed qualification.

Also first aid, sea survival, VHF radio, fire fighting.

    Great day aboard Out The Blue Charters LTD. Martin is a top skipper who clearly loves his job. Plenty of fish for the table caught with the top quality tackle provided. Loads of room on the beautiful boat for the 9 of us on board.

    We really got lucky with the Sunshine as well. Would highly recommend and will definitely be out with Martin again, hopefully soon!!

  • Knowledgeable & Friendly

    Had a really good half day fishing experience. The skipper Martin knew exactly where to go to catch fish, he was knowledgeable and friendly.

    We caught mackerel to start with and used the small ones for bait, then went to a site where we caught Whiting, Pouting and Ling. We caught enough fish to easily pay for the trip with many meals of fish and chips. Would highly recommend.

  • Truly Memorable

    Never seen dolphins in the UK before – managed to see in excess of 50 on our boat trip.

    Truly memorable morning – super helpful and friendly skipper was patient with my father in law who has limited mobility and was there to offer him assistance on and off the boat. Nice added touch of binoculars being available on the boat – couldn’t recommend highly enough we will be back again.

    Plenty of fish caught and plenty of laughs had too! The boat is perfect for angling with plenty of space and knowledgeable crew.

    Martin provided everything we needed including top quality fishing equipment to enabled us the best chance to catch big fighting fish. Highly recommend, five stars.

    My husband, our son and grandson had a 4 hour trip on this boat at the beginning of July and we all thought it was the best fishing trip any of us had ever been on.
